Course Overview: Standard Mental Health First Aid for the Workplace
This course goes beyond basic awareness, equipping participants with structured skills to identify and respond to mental health needs in the workplace. By using the MHFA framework (ALGEE), participants learn how to approach situations with empathy, offer effective support, and navigate sensitive conversations. This program also equips MHFAiders with essential strategies to actively support their own wellbeing while fulfilling this high-support role.

- Self-Paced eLearning: Complete 4–6 hours of eLearning modules at your own pace, designed to prepare you for the interactive live sessions.
- Hard Copy MHFA Manual: Receive a hard copy MHFA manual delivered to your preferred address, offering a valuable resource to support your ongoing learning and practical application of MHFA skills.
- Live Zoom Sessions: Participate in two dynamic, facilitator-led Zoom sessions (2.5 hours each), where you’ll apply your knowledge to real-world workplace scenarios.

Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, participants will have the ability to:

Upon course completion, participants become Accredited Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAiders), with certification valid for three years.
