In Person Mental Health First Aid Accredited Training
The Mental Health First Aid course teaches members of the community and employees how to recognise the symptoms of different illnesses and mental health crises amongst their staff, colleagues, friends and family. It upskills an individuals on how to effectively offer and provide initial support to people who are developing a mental illness or experiencing a mental health crisis. It covers four common mental health problems and multiple crisis situations helping to guide a person towards appropriate treatments and other supports.

Online Blended Mental Health First Aid in the Workplace Accredited Training
Blended Mental Health First Aid Courses include two components: a self-paced eLearning component followed by an Instructor-led workshop component that is delivered face-to-face or online using video conferencing technology which offers eLearning course content review and practical skill application. Blended course options are ideal for many workplaces and specialised settings where 2-day face-to-face training courses are more challenging for course participant attendance.

Mental Health First Aid Accredited Refresher Training
Refresher courses are 4 hour online courses that allow people who have previously completed a 12 or 14 hour Mental Health First Aid course to refresh their knowledge and skills. For people who are Accredited MHFAiders, the refresher courses offer an opportunity to extend their accreditation for a further 3 years. You may take the Refresher course up to 3 months after your accreditation has expired.

Youth Mental Health First Aid Accredited Training
The Youth Mental Health First Aid Course is for adults working or living with adolescents (those aged between 12 and 18 years), however, the course can be relevant for those helping people who are a little younger or older.

Refresher Youth Mental Health First Aid Accredited Training
This course had been designed for adults living or working with 10 to 24-year-olds, targeted towards teachers youth workers, sports coaches, youth resource officers and social workers. Others who will benefit from undertaking this course include parents, guardians, and grandparents, and other family members.

Mental Health First Aid- Conversations about Suicide
On average, there are 8 suicides every day, and many more attempts. One life lost to suicide is one too many. Whilst the numbers are staggering, there are ways to help. Whilst it can be intimidating to talk about suicide or ask people about what they’re going through, this 4-hour Mental Health First Aid for the Suicidal Person Course is based on the revised Mental Health First Aid Guidelines for Suicidal Thoughts and Behaviours.

Mental Health First Aid- Conversations about Non-Suicidal Self-Injury
Based upon guidelines developed through the expert consensus of people with lived experience of mental health problems and professionals, this 4-hour course is for any interested adult wanting to learn how to assist a person who is engaging in self-injury.

Mental Health First Aid- Conversations about Gambling
The 4-hour Mental Health First Aid Conversations about Gambling assists participants to identify, approach and support someone experiencing gambling harm using a practical, evidence-based action plan. This course is based on guidelines developed through the expert consensus of people with lived experience of mental health problems and professionals.
