Suicidal Person – Mental Health First Aid – 12 MAY 2020
May 12 - 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm$299
On average, there are 8 suicides every day, and many more attempts. One life lost to suicide is one too many.
Whilst the numbers are staggering, there are ways to help. Whilst it can be intimidating to talk about suicide or ask people about what they’re going through, this 4-hour Mental Health First Aid for the Suicidal Person Course is based on the revised Mental Health First Aid Guidelines for Suicidal Thoughts and Behaviours.
Providing an informed intervention that enables participants to confidently support a person who may be experiencing suicidal thoughts and/or behaviours.
