WorkPlace Interventions are the only provider to be approved to deliver the WorkSafe Return to Work Coordinator training program via a blended program using a flipped learning approach.

What is flipped learning?

It is not the traditional facilitator-led webinar requiring participants to ‘sit in front of a computer for half a day’.  Our flipped learning method offers numerous advantages to online learning.  The main goal is to enhance participant learning and achievement by reversing the traditional model of a webinar, focusing the live face to face ‘class time’ on participant understanding rather than on lecture.

To accomplish this, WorkPlace Interventions facilitators will prepare pre reading activities, and short pre-recorded video facilitator-led lectures online for participants to view prior to attending the live webinar sessions. This enables live webinar time to be devoted to expanding on and mastering the material through collaborative learning exercises, projects, and discussions.

WorkPlace Interventions are at the forefront of online learning and are utilising this opportunity to optimise our online capabilities to enable this program to be delivered in an interactive and engaging format.

Under the Workers Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013, an employer has an obligation to nominate and appoint a return to work coordinator who has an appropriate level of seniority and competency to perform their role.
