This is an ONLINE Refresher training program (4.5 hours).

Undertaking this Refresher allows those who have previously completed a Mental Health First Aid course to refresh their knowledge and skills and enables MHFAiders to gain a further three years of accreditation.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

• Gain an understanding of the latest research in the mental health field
• Refresh and discuss the three key actions for helping someone who is suicidal
• Work through complex mental health first aid interactions
• Share their experiences and engage in group discussions
• Practice mental health first aid skills.

Course time: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm (AEDT).

Terms and Conditions

1- Cancellations or rescheduling requests can only be accepted up to ten business days before the scheduled course date; otherwise, the full fee is payable. Rescheduling courses within ten business days of the scheduled course date will incur a cost of $100 plus GST.

2- If you are undertaking a Refresher MHFA course; the Refresher date must be within three years of undertaking your initial MHFA course.

3- In the unlikely event that WorkPlace Interventions needs to postpone a session, all registered participants affected by a cancellation or postponement will be offered the opportunity to transfer to the next available session or choose an alternative date.

4- All attendees must be fully vaccinated and sign in with the QR code, with a digital COVID-19 vaccine certificate connected to the Service Victoria App.

5- Any cancellations or rescheduling requests (outside our standard terms and conditions detailed above) that has occurred as a result of COVID-19 close contact or positive test isolation requirements; will not qualify for a refund of training, and will only qualify for rescheduling fee reduced/waived if proof of isolation requirements is provided to the training organisation. The reschedule fee can not be waived if day of training notice is received.
