This is a fully online Refresher training program (4.5 hours).

This course allows those who have previously completed a Mental Health First Aid course to refresh their knowledge and skills and enables MHFAiders to gain a further three years of accreditation.

This course gives participants an opportunity to:

• Gain an understanding of the latest research in the mental health field
• Refresh and discuss the three key actions for helping someone who is suicidal
• Work through complex mental health first aid interactions
• Share experiences and engage in group discussions
• Practice mental health first aid skills.

IMPORTANT PARTICIPANT INFORMATION

If you have purchased the online version of this course, you will receive an email one week before the scheduled course date, which contains the Zoom links for the upcoming session.

Zoom Course time: 12:30 pm – 5:00 pm (AEDT) via Zoom Platform.

Terms and Conditions

1- Cancellations or rescheduling requests can only be accepted up to 10 business days before the scheduled course date; otherwise, the full fee is payable. Rescheduling courses within ten business days of the scheduled course date will incur a cost of $100 plus GST.

2- If you have purchased the online training, you will receive an email one week before the scheduled course date containing the Zoom links and instructions on how to join.  Please note for those undertaking a Refresher MHFA course; the Refresher date must be within three years of undertaking your initial MHFA course.

3- In the unlikely event that WorkPlace Interventions needs to postpone a session, all registered participants affected by a cancellation or postponement will be offered the opportunity to transfer to the next available session or choose an alternative date.

Important notice- Hard copy manuals (if purchased) are mailed in advance due to Australia post delays. In the event of a requested refund, if the manual has already been mailed, the cost of the manual will not be refunded.
