Course Highlights:
Level 1 – Dealing with Difficult Customer Behaviours, Including Aggression and Threats:
- Recognise Challenging Customer Behaviours: Identify and differentiate challenging customer behaviours, including aggression and threats.
- Apply De-escalation Techniques: Effectively apply practical de-escalation strategies to defuse tense situations, prioritise safety, and maintain a respectful environment.
- Understand Mental Health Impact: Develop an awareness of the potential mental health impact when dealing with challenging behaviours.
- Implement Respectful Disengagement: Skilfully disengage from challenging customer interactions while ensuring safety and maintaining professionalism.
Level 2 – Advanced Strategies for Handling Difficult Customer Behaviours:
- Create Distance and Ensure Safety: Develop and apply advanced strategies for creating physical and emotional distance from customers exhibiting aggressive or threatening behaviour.
- Execute Removal Protocols: Safely remove oneself and others from situations involving challenging customers, minimising potential harm.
- Activate Duress Processes: Understand and proficiently follow specific duress procedures, ensuring the safety of all parties involved.

Important Participant Information:
- The course format includes up to 2 hours of facilitator-led self-paced pre-course work, followed by a 1.5-hour online live workshop.

Terms and Conditions
- Refund Policy: Refund requests must be submitted a minimum of ten business days before the scheduled course date. After this period, the full fee becomes payable, and a $150 plus GST rescheduling fee applies.
- Rescheduling: Rescheduling requests made within ten business days of the scheduled course date will result in a $150 plus GST fee.
- Session Postponement: In the unlikely event that WorkPlace Interventions needs to postpone a session, all registered participants affected by the cancellation or postponement will have the option to transfer their registration to the next available session or select an alternative date.
- Acceptance of Terms: You acknowledge that requesting an invoice for payment constitutes a formal commitment to the booked ticket, and the 10-business-day cancellation or rescheduling policy applies.
