Occupational violence and bullying have both psychological and physical effects on those who experience it and those who witness it. This course provides an overview of applicable laws, the impact of bullying, workers’ compensation claims and the role of workplace policies and procedures, exploring intervention strategies and a practical approach to supporting OVA critical incidents in the workplace.
Anyone who is able to influence workplace culture or those who can directly change policies and procedures, including HR, OHS and those working in Workers Compensation would benefit from undertaking this course.

Important Participant Information
This program is delivered via flipped learning (1.5-2 hours of self-paced pre-course work followed by a 1.5 hours Zoom session).
One week before the scheduled course date participants will receive an email from our training department containing the link to the self-paced pre-course work and Zoom link with instructions.

Terms and Conditions
1- Cancellations or rescheduling requests can only be accepted up to ten business days before the scheduled course date; otherwise, the full fee is payable.
2-Rescheduling courses within ten business days of the scheduled course date will incur a cost of $100 plus GST.
3- In the unlikely event that WorkPlace Interventions needs to postpone a session, all registered participants affected by a cancellation or postponement will be offered the opportunity to transfer to the next available session or choose an alternative date.
4- By accepting these terms and conditions, you accept and acknowledge that requesting an invoice for payment is a formal commitment to the booked ticket and the 10 business days for cancelling/rescheduling applies.
