“The WHS Act and Regulations require persons who have a duty to ensure health and safety to “manage risks” by eliminating health and safety risks so far as is reasonably practicable, and if not reasonable practicable t do so, to minimise those risks so far as is reasonable practicable” (Safe Work Australia, 2009). This course will demonstrate how we can manage and control workplace hazards and risks at every step from identification of hazard or risk to management.
