This Accredited Mental Health First Aid course consists of two full days of fully interactive and engaging face to face training sessions.
- Mental health problems in Australia
- Mental Health First Aid action plan
- Mental health illnesses including depression, anxiety problems and psychosis and substance use problems
- Mental health crises including suicidal thoughts, non-suicidal self-injury, panic attack, severe psychotic state, and aggressive behaviour.
- Reasonable adjustments and understanding legislation associated with supporting workplace mental illness.
This course is endorsed for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points for several professions.
The 184 page Mental Health First Aid Manual is included in the ticket cost.

Terms and Conditions
1- Cancellations or rescheduling requests can only be accepted up to ten business days before the scheduled course date; otherwise, the full fee is payable.
2-Rescheduling courses within ten business days of the scheduled course date will incur a cost of $200 plus GST.
3- In the unlikely event that WorkPlace Interventions needs to postpone a session, all registered participants affected by a cancellation/postponement will be offered the opportunity to transfer to the next available session or choose an alternative date.
4- All attendees must be fully vaccinated and sign in with the QR code, with a digital COVID-19 vaccine certificate connected to the Service Victoria App.
5- Any cancellations or rescheduling requests (outside our standard terms and conditions detailed above) that has occurred as a result of COVID-19 close contact or positive test isolation requirements; will not qualify for a refund of training, and will only qualify for rescheduling fee reduced/waived if proof of isolation requirements is provided to the training organisation. The reschedule fee can not be waived if day of training notice is received.
