Trauma manifests in everyone differently, and this advanced program will equip individuals and organisations with an evidence-based skills set and knowledge to support individuals following a traumatic event such as a workplace critical incident.

- Understand the history of psychological first aid and the importance of its evidence based principals in application.
- Proactive trauma response using an evidence based application: “RAPID approach”

As a follow up to the “Introduction to Psychological First Aid in the Workplace”, this course is valuable for all employees and/or businesses whose employees are regularly exposed to potentially traumatic events (e.g., social workers, first responders, healthcare workers). Specifically, this program has been designed for peer support officers or those whose role involves following up with individuals who have been exposed to a potentially traumatic event.
